I note with great pleasure the celebration of the 40th anniversary of The Society of The Golden Keys of Hong Kong, a milestone that is shared with pride by all the Les Clefs d’Or Local, Associate, and Honorary members past and present. 

Since its founding in 1982, the society has steadily grown in size and stature, becoming one of the largest and most prestigious chapters in the Asia-Pacific Region. It has also come to be recognized widely as the preeminent association of hotel concierges in Hong Kong. Its steadfast commitment to professional development of its members has helped to substantially elevate the city’s hotel service standards, contributing to the excellent reputation enjoyed by Hong Kong’s hotel industry.We are immensely proud of our members, the backbone of our achievement. Many of their innovative practices developed in performing their day-to-day duties have gained global recognition, including invitation to our president to proudly share these practices with other chapters in the international U.I.C.H. gatherings.

As Hong Kong’s tourism and hospitality sectors look to recover from the Covid-19 Pandemic, the society and its members are eager to play a significant role in the recovery by continuing to advance our hotel service standards. Our commitment to service quality improvement and professional development remains our foundation.

To mark this special occasion, I wish a memorable and joyous celebration of our 40th anniversary event and continued success to our members in their future endeavours.
